Time to post something here again. Half a year has passed, and I've come up with two new songs since my last post. Gz me -.-
The university is still shit, this term has been even worse than the previous one if possible. I'm lazier than ever, I've stopped taking piano lessons because of that, not to mention my utter lack of composing any kind of music. Yesterday was an exception though, in a few hours I came up with a strange experimental song titled Pulsar. Neither the instruments nor most of the melodies included are too original, but the resulting concoction is :) Go check it out.

I randomly finished a classical project that was a few months old. Give it a listen peeps.

I deleted the faulty versions of Doomsday and In The Name Of Hope (no idea why i hadn't done that before).

I sent a pm to Tom with a request to change my username to mechanoid-9. Skragga is the name I use almost everywhere on the net, but I finally convinced myself that it doesn't sound right as a composer name. So expect to find me under this new name soon (hopefully).

University sucks atm, too much nonsense and maths blabla and too little programming.

Yeah. Like, whoa. Dunno what's gotten into me XD
Anyway, got lots of stuff to do in the near future (drawing, playing games, piano practice, getting ready for university ._.), so nothing guarantees that I'll compose songs regularly from now on. This took me a whole day too =/

I deserve it, for making a total of 6 songs in 2008. Why I have stopped, I do not know. I will force myself to make music some way, even if it kills all my free time. I must.

I'm progressing acceptably with learning to play the piano btw. I can play a simplified version of Defcon Zero for example :D

Also, I have gained an addiction to the songs of Blind Guardian. This might influence my next song, whenever I'll finish one.

Hmm, haven't made a new song in a long time. I suppose I haven't had much inspiration and/or was too busy with various games (especially Deco Online... again XD). Although I feel the urge to make some more hardcore... I might unexpectedly come up with something new, so stay tuned.

I'm off on a 1 week holiday in Greece, plus possibly a couple more days in our weekend house after that. Btw I've started experimenting with blending hardcore and dnb together. It just might end up as a song after I have returned.

I'm not dead, just goddamn lazy as usual, and quite occupied with other things than musicmaking (school, Spore, Guild Wars, etc.) But, I have started taking piano lessons, and borrowed a digital piano from a relative. If all goes well, hopefully it will help with making up melodies and bring inspiration. Btw I'm gonna go through my unfinished Reason projects again and see if I can dig up something worth finishing or just submitting as a loop.

I'm still a lazy asshole, but finally, inspiration has come! I have made up a beautiful base melody while practicing on the piano. I am planning to make this into my first classical song with no drums - but knowing myself, I might not be able to stop myself from putting in some kind of percussion. Anyway, if I don't make this into a full song soon, you may all fry me alive and sell me as a snack. Onna stick.
P.s.: Japanese Deco owns like no other. And GAYFUX should go eat the rotten ass of a dead bear.

Commenting my laziness again is quite unnecessary now... I intend to make songs, just have no time. Can't promise anything but I hope to make something with FL next.

I was pretty bored yesterday, so I loaded one of my half-done reason projects and tampered with it a bit. It was then that I found that type of guitar pluck (or something like it anyway) that I've dreamed of; it was the only element missing from my list of instrument needed to create a rock song. So I got down to work and threw this one together: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen /147903 I was intending to put more classical instruments into it (I'm an orchestra-maniac), but it ended up sounding good with just one marcato violin.
School is really starting to culminate now; next week I'm going to have german exams (>_< >_< >_<), along with a history test and who knows what else. So I think I'll really stop working on my songs till the summer break comes.

Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself. When I say 'I'm gonna finish this song and remix that and blablabla because I'll have a lot of time', that's when I don't do anything at all. And when I say 'omg too much school I won't be able to write music for a while now' I come up with two new songs in a week. Talk about reliabilty. I'm currently working on - guess it - a classical song. I have a short version of it completed, but I dunno how to finish it exactly. Possibly I'll extend it further into a longer classical song, then I plan to make a part two, which will have the same melodies and mood, but DnB. (Hmm, haven't made DnB in ages.) I'm not sure how it'll turn out in the end; but I can assure everyone it will be awesome :P Suggestions, perhaps? Should I submit a preview?

I haven't submitted anything again for a while. Possible reasons:
1. I am a lazy piece of shit.
2. Too much homework.

So I haven't been doin much with my projects. And now the end of the year test-a-thon is coming too. If not earlier, I'm surely going to start working in the summer break though.

Finally, I got myself to finish the hardcore song whose demo has been on my page for quite a while now. Though I have written in my journal that in the spring break I'll have time to work on songs, I fwcked most of that time away (not literally ^^') and did nothing but played on teh comp. Rappelz, Guild Wars, more Rappelz, more Guild Wars, Adventure Quest... I'm an rpg nerd 8/ But finally in the last few days I restrained myself and began work. And behold the result: another insane hardcore piece, IMO better than all my previous work in this genre (yeah, I realized I do say that for every hardcore song I make :P). Contains some of the new soundfonts I have recently downloaded. And it's totally euphorical XD Share your opinions ppl!

I'm not dead, just goddamn lazy as usual and starting to get overwhelmed by homework... Despite that, I've started making a new hardcore song. I'm planning to make this better than any hardcore I've submitted yet. Let's hope I'll succeed :3
New Reason refills are on the way, but still no rock guitars in sight. If anyone knows where to get some decent electric guitar refills or soundfonts, please tell me in a comment or pm me!

Unfortunately I won't be able to finish the hardcore song this weekend, because of an incoming test on monday. It's also likely that I won't reply to new reviews till then. But after that I'll try to work on the song also during the week, and answer the reviews too.

I've got a huge amount of new soundfonts! Exploring them currently, let's hope for some rock guitars and choirs XD
Edit: ZOMG HOLY CRAB... This is awesome stuff. There must be hundreds of soundfonts in here, I haven't had enough time to check them all out, but have taken a look at the obviously interesting ones. There's EVERYTHING in here: an incredible choir, some rock guitars (finally!!!!), lots of ethnic instruments, awesome brass, drums... I swear I'll spend some time very soon to listen to all of them.
P. S.: Awesome classical is imminent. With the new instruments. Especially the ethnic stuff and brass.

School is still overwhelming me, I haven't had a weekend in 4 or 5 weeks now that I haven't spent in 80-90% with learning. Until this fucked up period ends I don't know when I'll be able to work on new songs. If not earlier, then in the spring break I'll get back to work for sure.

I cannot bring myself to write it down. This was my first, only and favourite mmorpg. I have been playing it day and night since the summer. I loved it, I always thought about it, I was too enthusiastic, too involved... And now...
I know it's just a game, and I'm an idiot, and I'm too sensitive, and people are dying on the other half of the world, but now I really really dont give a fuck about that; I'm unspeakably shocked and depressed. I'm literally in pieces, fucked up, down in the dumps. I know it's not a big problem and I could have far worse problems, but I really dont care. This has been a huge bitchslap from life. A two-handed one with studded iron gauntlets.
The positive (??????) side: soon you can expect another very melancholic song. But this time, there will be real feelings behind it. Call me a sentimental weenie. I do not care.

Well, the crisis is over. At least, I dont feel like drowning the world in my blood anymore =_=' I've started looking for another mmo, and stumbled upon this http://video.mmosite.com/display.php?v id=6886&gid=269 I fell in love with the first song in this vid (can't help it, have an affinity for japanese/whatever whiney breakbeat shit XD). Can somebody tell me its title? Plz comment if you know! I'm thinking of (that doesnt necessarily mean I'm going to) orchestrating it or part of it. It'd help to know the title >_>
